Also needs to be ideal for camping nearby and somewhere within a few hours of Sydney would be easiest.

There are good beaches all the way up and down the NSW coast but not where you can legally light a fire. If you do find an isolated beach, which is most likely to be down south or up north, and you do manage to light a fire, make sure that you do the right thing by keeping it well away from anything else flammable and put it out at the end of the night - then bury it very well. Your music will generally be fine unless it is loud enough to bother others.

You'll find some of the states most beautiful beaches on the NSW Central Coast but you may be chased off if your music is too loud or you try to set a fire there.

Hope you find a great place to enjoy your music anyway. You are likely find somewhere perfect along the coast.

Hawksnest is ideal for this, there is a little beach called Jimmy's beach. Have had many a good time by the seaside with a fire. It is quite secluded and in summer you may find other groups who want to join you by the fire. There is plenty of camping grounds nearby too so you may make a weekend of it. over 8 years ago
