Swimming in our clean beaches and every surf club is licensed for meals and drinks. The mountains behind the coast have many great bush walks. Tambournine mountains is a cute village up on the mountains that is worthy of a day out. Gold Coast botanic gardens is 10 from Surfers Paradise and covers 31 hectares. Currumbin Rock Pool for a dip is 20 minutes from the coast and in a lush valley. Coastal walking paths that run along the beaches are easy to find.
