    Yes, but you'll get a better exchange rate if you just withdraw $ from a bank machine almost 5 years ago

    Traveleater is right. absolutely the best exchange rate (same as the bank rate) is an ATM. Where you get stung is in fees and charges - often at both ends. Still, it's usually cheaper than using a money exchange.
    Take your credit/debit card as back up - and keep it safe. But get a travel money card with a limited amount of funds (so you don't lose the house if you're defrauded). almost 5 years ago
