
Is it safe to walk around the Daintree Rainforest without a guide?

Probably not, check with rangers before you go into any National park in the tropics almost 5 years ago

I would suggest a guide. Theres lots of dangers and deadly creatures..... almost 5 years ago

It is always risky and too dangerous to go without guide in Daintree Rainforest. I also suggest to take guide with your journey. almost 5 years ago

So what we ended up doing was, on our own, following a marked path (marked with orange rope), but there are a few trails that you can get maps for online or when you get there. We also took a night tour with a guide who knew his trail really well, as he'd been doing it for 15 years. almost 5 years ago

If you want to do this, there is a place called The Beach House which is nestled among the rainforest. Here you can walk through the property and along the beach at night. It is really stunning and affordable. Check them out http://www.capetribbeach.com.au/daintree-rainforest about 4 years ago
