Southbank has a great atmosphere- somewhere like World Bar and Restaurant would be good. Otherwise Degraves St off Flinders St is full of little eateries that would suit all tastes. over 10 years ago

It's Melbourne... so many places! A couple of personal favourites:
    - Hu Tong Dumpling Bar offers great food and an amazing experience, but it's very popular so you'd best book a few days out.
    - Maedaya in Richmond does a really interesting Japanese tapas, or the cook-your-own option upstairs is a great experience.
    - Ladro in Gertrude St Fitzroy and now Greville St Prahran does the most magnificent pizzas. over 10 years ago
