I'll be in Australia in October and November and ready to head to Southeast Asia by approx mid-November.
Advice for the cheapest destinations and airlines?
I don't really care where in SE Asia I start as I'll be making the rounds over a few months.
I'll most likely be flying out of Sydney, but could stop in another city if it means a great deal on a flight.
Many thanks!

Sign up to the Jetstar newsletter as they have good sales ... a colleague got a great deal with Scoot. Vietnam airlines also have really good deals so are worth checking out. over 7 years ago

Along with Jetstar you should definitely check out Scoot, Air Asia, Tiger airways and Virgin (in that order). Scoots hub is Singapore so if you want to go to other countries you can take an indirect flight via Singapore (Scoots sales are ridiculous!). Similarly Air Asia's hub is Kuala Lumpur. about 7 years ago

Thanks - I just arrived in Langkawi, Malaysia for about 300$ on Air Asia. I'll check out the other airlines too, thanks, because I have many more flights to take! about 7 years ago
