Hi there, cairns coconut resort is by for the best for families. There is camping spots but also lovely cabins with different price ranges depending on your requirements. The more expensive ones are like little self contained homes. I'm a cairns local and over the years I've stayed there many times with friends, and our kids, because it really makes you feel like you're on holidays. And the facilities to entertain the kids are second to none. The only drawback is it's at least 10 minute drive to city centre. So if you have a vehicle or prepared to catch the bus it's no problem. Google it and have a look at what it offers. There's a huge bouncy thing that me and my friends have had many laughs on after a few wines. Of course we waited til no kids on there!
