Try the Australian Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour. Take a pleasant walk across the small bridge at the entrance to Darling Harbour. about 7 years ago

Take a bus to Bronte and take the coastal walk to Bondi ... Gorgeous on a glorious winters day.

Or take the ferry to Manly and go surfing! about 7 years ago

Head out of the city and up to the heads.
Try North head and the quarantine station.
Or jump on a sydney ferry (the public one) and see where it takes you! - maybe Balmain (a cool inner-city suburb) or Manly, or even Taronga Zoo (which was created before the government grasped property values).
The public ferries give the best views of Sydney. about 7 years ago

Definitely the Blue Mountains ... You can catch the train up from Central Railway Station ... Takes about an hour and a half. When you get to Katoomba catch the all day trolley sightseeing bus. Costs about $20. about 7 years ago
