It will depend where you are going.for example Darwin in the Northern Territory is around the early to mid 30c's all winter. In the southern states the weather can be anywhere from -2 or 3c to 8-10c throughout the day. I live in South Queensland where the temp is presently a low of around 9c to about 19c during the day. But this can get warmer with a low of 10-11c at night for weeks. Melbourne can be freezing as can Sydney so if you are coming to the southern states be prepared. Did you know we have a snow season on NSW, Victoria and Tasmania so you can see we are very varied in our weather. This is a very big country. Hope you have a great time. over 5 years ago

Cairn s is a beautiful place to visit in Winter - our high season is from May - October - and then visit the Southern States in November - February when they get the best weather over 5 years ago

It depends on what state your are visiting. In the Snowy Mountains area it is usual to have below zero temps at this time of the year heating up to 10 -12 degrees centigrade during the day. It is a very beautiful time of the year with magnificent skies and crisp, sunny days. over 5 years ago
