I have a Brazilian friend who desperately wants to come and work in Australia. She is a Journalist in Salvador, but unfortunately, will not be able to get a skilled working visa with her qualifications. Apparently there are lots of Brazilians working in Australia, are they all skilled? If not, how do we get around the visa situation? She is willing to study, but that is expensive and she can only work 40 hours a fortnight.

You friend could apply for a 12 month working holiday visa pretty easily, but non-skilled migration is a tough nut to crack.
