My personal preference is Chapel St, Prahran. There are some really nice cafes along there. On the other side of the city you can find Lygon street which is mainly Italian. Or try Brunswick street Collingwood or eve Bridge road Richmond. You should try all of them if you have time! over 5 years ago

Urbanspoon is probably the best indicator for places to eat - http://www.urbanspoon.com/lb/71/best-restaurants-Melbourne over 5 years ago

It depends what type of food you are after- I would recommend urbanspoon as well.

Chinatown has some great food (noodle kingdom is awesome and cheap) but also try Stalactites for yummy Greek food. over 5 years ago

There's this cool greek resto in CBD. I just forgot what the street was, but it is pretty close to Spencer St., I guess?! The greek resto that I am talking about is called Stalactites and, I swear, they have the best greek stuff in town. They're pretty popular in CBD, too. over 5 years ago

Grill'd is my favourite burger place (and I'm a vegetarian) and my husband's as well (carnivore). Best chips around. For fast food options: healthy habits, Nandos, Pie Face, Boost (smoothies), Sumo Salad, sushi sushi

Great food court options: South Bank, Melbourne Central, Australia on Collins

Happy eating. -Stacey about 5 years ago
