Blue Mountain Adventure Company [http://www.bmac.com.au/] in Katoomba offer Hires for aus$20 or also Bush Sports Adventure [http://www.bushsports.com.au/hire_adventure_equipment.html] have range of options too from aus$20 - $40 (Although Telstra has just disconnected their phones they were very quick to email back with-in 30mins!) about 8 years ago
