Hrm, not sure there are many (or any) in the actual cbd - you have to head a bit north, Brunswick and Carlton way.
I would say that the best Lebanese restuaurant in Melbourne is Abla's, in Carlton (very short tram ride from the city). http://www.ablas.com.au/
It's an institution - it's been there almost 30 years - and the food is amazing. almost 11 years agoAnswered by Hannahbabble viaTravellr.com

We tried to book at Ablas but they were booked out for a few days solid! However they recommended a place called "Zum Zum" which is nearby at 645 Rathdown St, Carlton. Food was great!

I suggest Min Zaman Restaurant, located in Carlton- 292 Lygon Street... Food amazing, and Lebanese belly dancing shows are every Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights... I go there, as i like to smoke Lebanese shisha apple!

Min Zaman is not so good.
I like Dunyazad in North Balwyn. Some people say it is overpriced, but they serve consistently excellent Lebanese food.
Only problem is that North Balwyn is in the suburbs and not close to the city. over 9 years agoAnswered by Pip viaTravellr.com
