For New Zealand? There are many companies in New Zealand, We have a range of Budget campers, that have just a bed, cooking facilities, DVD players and fridges to expensive ones that can have toilets and showers, and well pretty much a house on Wheels. It all depends on the time of year you come, from November or March its Peak season so the prices are high but after that its low season, so cheaper prices. If keen on coming, speak to Mad Travel,or send them an email (madtravel@nomadsfusion.com) and they get pretty good rates and at a cheaper rate than online. almost 11 years ago

    i would try vroomvroomvroom.com.au
if you type in what you are after and when they will search all the rental companies within a few seconds and list them all from cheapest to most expensive. You can book through them and pay on the day you collect the vehicle. Other option is to try Juicy car rentals or www.backpackercampervans.com.au which do similar search to Vroom Vroom but through the smaller car companies- may actually be cheaper than going through the big name companies like Europcar and Hertz...Good Luck! almost 11 years ago

http://www.travellers-autobarn.com.au have been around for years and have an excellent reputation. Or you could always apply for one of the last legs of the World Nomads Vantastic van and get the trip for free: http://vantastic.worldnomads.com/ almost 11 years ago

Opps sorry, i didn't see the question was for Australia!, but its the same information, Again you have a lot of campers over there. that have simple things to everything on wheels. The main companies i would use to do Australia would be Jucy, Kea, Spaceships. Cheap Campa, Hippie Campers, Apollo Campers. It all depends on what you would like in terms of what you need, such as toilets ans showers or if you just need the bed. All the Best!! almost 11 years ago

I would recommend Travellers Auto Barn as budget option. Had a nice trip with one of their chubby along the East Coast. Apollo is interesting too, but as a luxurious option, so more confortable, but more expensive too. almost 11 years ago
