    Good luck! Hamilton Island is quite pricey, but there is a range from average to expensive to "i earn to much"
    Also, there are child-free hotels on the island, so make sure you know where you are staying.

    Don't go there it's over rated and over priced. Try daydream in the same area you will get good specials great snorkelling water sports and more personal service. over 8 years ago

    December is peak period for Hamilton Island. I did a quick search for you on www.agoda.com and found 6 hotels with availability ranging from USD271 per night to USD980 per night. I have never stayed on Hamilton but plenty of my friends have and say it’s great for a family holiday.

    One of our favourite holidays as a family has been chartering a boat and sailing around the Whitsundays, staying a few nights on Hayman. Have you considered doing this? It might work out cheaper, be a little more adventurous and still with the dash of luxury. (You don’t need to be a sailor, anyone can do it!) over 8 years ago
