Dive spots near Sydney?

almost 11 years ago about Sydney, Australia

Where are some good scuba diving spots near Sydney? Are there any dive-able ship wrecks and other interesting things to see? Thanks!

I have a friend who goes on dives with http://www.frogdive.com.au/.
Apparently Fairy Bower just off Shelly Beach is known for Dusky Whaler shark juveniles and other sharks as well.... Or there's Long Reef which has a big swim through system called Cathedral Rock with lots of small caves and passages... almost 11 years ago

Try Avoca Beach up on the Central Coast, about 1.5 hrs north of Sydney. The sunk the old battle ship as an artificial reef. http://www.hmasadelaide.com/ over 8 years ago
