Where would one find/have the authentic taste and texture of such a dish as i'm all laksa'd out on the noodle front.

    Wagga Mamma is popular and has locations on King Street Wharf and the citibank centre opposite the QVB. But I personally prefer 'Ichiban Boshi' (Number one Hat) also in the Citibank Centre on level 2 opposite the Kinyokunya bookshop.

    Not exactly udons, but best handmade noodles can be found at Chinese Noodle Restaurant in Haymarket (just off of Market City). Be ready to queue at this super popular lunch time destination! about 11 years ago
