Ill be flying to bangkok and then going to northen thailand > laos > vietnam > cambodia > southern thailand and then fly home. Ive worked it out to be abouts $80 a day, wont be flying between country s sleeping cheaply, eating street food although i want to be able to do lots of activities and i do plan to do a fair amount of partying will this be enough? Also im kinda shy when i meet new people any advice on how to go about meeting people etc ?

Thanks for readin
In 2012 I did Thailand>Cambodia>Laos>North Thailand>South Thailand in about 2 months and I would have spent around $3k AUD. We travelled by bus/train, ate cheaply, didn't skimp on the drinks and this was plenty. Outside of Thailand $50 USD a day is living rich.
For meeting people, as long as you stay at fairly big/popular hostels you are guaranteed to meet people just by hanging out in the common areas. While travelling you'll find most people are keen to introduce themselves and meet others, I wouldn't worry about it. One recommendation for a great party hostel would be Garden Village in Siem Reap, Cambodia (if you end up that way).
As for bag I'd say a 60L would be the upper limit, you don't want to carry more than that for your whole trip and there's plenty of opportunities to take your clothes to a laundry, so just pack less!
Hope that helps,
