    There are two inmigration offices, one at each country. Distance between them is around 6 km. If you are in Argentina, you will have to leave Argentins first, and then get into Brazil, and viceversa. Depending on which day and what time you are, it can take from 10 minutes to 1 hour. Regarding visa, it will depend on which natiionality you are. about 9 years ago

    Very easy but check if you need a visa, US citizens certainly do. You can taxis which will cross both sides which removes the hassle of changing transport. If you do need a visa to Brazil, there is a visa in Puerto Iguazu (Argentine side) but it takes between 24 and 48 hrs and costs about 100 USD. Check wha the opening times are as they change. about 9 years ago
