    There is a district where there are leather stores after leather stores - leather district, in Villa crespo -

    "The Calle Murillo Leather District -- Calle Murillo leather warehouse district in the Villa Crespo neighborhood.

    "Murillo 666" is one of the street's main stores.

    On the street Murillo between Malabia and Acevedo are most of the stores but you'll find about 50 stores total! about 6 years ago

    As the worlds 3 or 4th largest exporter of beef there is a lot of leather goods here. In fact you will see them everywhere not just in Bs As but also all over Argentina. Calle Florida has a lot of shops but you will pay tourist prices (still cheap compared to USA or UK). For the real deal try and get outside of Bs As to the Pampas. about 6 years ago
