I'll be in Argentina. Can anyone tell me how to get to downtown from the airport? Where is the nearest tourist office?

After inmigrations, you will pick your lugagge and after that you will clear customs. Right after customs, there will be a few kioscs for hiring a taxi to downtown. You will pay around 10% more, but service will be good and safe. Enjoy 'Baires' !! over 6 years ago

There is also a shuttle bus company named "Manuel Tienda Leon", leaving each 30 minutes. Transfer cost around U$13 and you can pay with crédit card too. The bus is going non stop until their own terminal in Retiro, next to Sheraton Hotel.
Another local bus service is #86, for u$1 or u$2 you will be in downtown in 2.30 hours. Be ready to crowded bus and thousand stops. Not recomendable if you have big luggage. over 6 years ago

We arranged for a car through our hotel (Marriott). Not much more expensive than a taxi and you can pay with your hotel. I would assume that other hotels offer the same service. over 6 years ago
