I'd personally avoid second half of December till first half of February since it's summer time and is very hot and cultural life is limited. Rest of the year, you'll enjoy BA. For us the best months are April, May (Fall) September and October (Spring). over 7 years ago

I second that. December and January are hot and humid. You won't want to out during the day. The locals, portenos, also leave the city in January taking much of the life of the city with them. On the other hand June, July and August can be dark and cool. It never snows but it can get very chilly in the winter. Spring and fall are ideal times to visit. All that said, I'm heading to BA the end of July because the city is fantastic no matter when I'm there. over 7 years ago
