I would love to go to Argentina but I have a completely irrational and pathological fear of spiders, is there a good chance I'll be running into some big ones should I travel there?

    Hi JMC,

I would say that you are at no more risk of running into them than in any other country around the world. I lived in San Juan, Argentina for a year and only remember common small house spiders and certainly no large ones. almost 6 years ago

I have lived in Australia for 4 years and only seen a handful of decently sized spiders, so you'll be fine in Argentina.

I'm not too keen on them myself, but I certainly wouldn't let the fear have any say in my travel plans. almost 6 years ago
