Ask a nomad! Also photogene, paper camera, pages, corkulous, sky scanner, pandora, zinio, scrabble, skype, all recipes, and epicurious.

I spend 24 hours a day with my iPad beside me...for work, for play, for travel, for cooking...everything. Do you know you can do a screen save by pushing the home and off button at the same time? I save maps, webpages, photos, recipes, you name it...and it is not even an app! over 9 years ago

Kindle for iPad is awesome, particularly for travel. If you love painting try Procreate. And for generally keeping a busy life synchronized across iPhone, iPad, desktop and laptop I swear by Evernote. over 9 years ago

I think Flipboard is a brilliant App for reading news articles, Twitter, Facebook and recommended photos and articles; it's very professional.
Also like: Alarmed, Soundhound, ReadItLater and dropbox.
