I would like to visit a safe place where young children are welcomed. I would like to visit a place where we can really get close with the locals. Experience local markets, festivals/events, community gatherings. I also would enjoy exploring the land and being near the water/beach.

Our children always traveled with us. We took them all over Italy when they were 2,5, and 7. Italians love children so taking them to places such as a nice restaurant for a late dinner is no problem. The owners will dote on them. The older two went to Germany with us when they were 4 and 6. Be realistic with your expectations. Summer is great because there are so many festivals all over Europe. Children will play with each other for hours even when they don't speak the same language. Make sure you schedule down time and that they get plenty of sleep and regular meals. They can go anywhere you go. about 1 year ago

Detroit, anywhere in Ohio and Kentucky. Mosil is quite nice this time of year and with lots of children looking for playmates there will be lots for your kids to do. With many flattened areas, treasure hunting will keep them occupied for hours. In other words, the world has become too dangerous to travel with kids. Go to disneyland! about 1 year ago
