I'm 18 years old can i take my boyfriend to a hotel in dubai. Well my boyfriend if from germany and am an arab but i lived in germany for many years this is my first year in dubai. My boyfriend is coming to dubai on his birthday so i wanted to surprise him with something romantic i want to take him to a hotel room but we won't sleep there it's just for having fun and spending the day in a private place because i heard that kissing is not allowed in public so we just want to have our privacy. Is that possible ? We are 18 so we are both young to the arab society i don't know i have no idea about what is legal and what is not .. can anybody please help me ?
Hmmm i don't know about that. I'm facing the same problem.i have no idea about where to take him and what to do over 2 years agoAnswered by sara via WorldNomads.com
Hi Sara, usually the hotel will still be able to check in your boyfriend and yourself into a room as long as both of you are not UAE citizen. Expats and tourist usually can check in whether married or not. However, it is required to present your passports at the front desk. Also, hotels will also usually lock the minibars since the legal age for consuming alcohol will be 21 years old. This is to my best knowledge living in the Middle East for a couple of years... but their rules and regulations also change from time to time so it's best to check in advance by contacting the hotel you have in mind directly via email or call the reservations. over 2 years ago
