Highway 93 which begins, lets say Canada or actually Kalispell, Montana all the way to Arizona. A beautiful drive but once you hit Jackpot, Nevada...it's nothing but you and the road all across the state. Small towns along the way, busted up vehicles needing an engine or tranny, towns where you driver through travelers are noticeable. There is nothing but you and the road and lots of desert. During the day you can see for miles in all directions. At night you can't see anything but your headlights on the road. There will be bugs, there will be jack rabbits playing dodge it with your vehicle, there may be aliens. If you are unlucky without air conditioning, there will be sweat and dry heat. At night you can take in the stars and see the milky way; how it curves around our atmosphere. It makes you feel small and inconsequential in this big universe of ours. over 5 years ago
