Yes I have. We used them along with Airbnb because they have an extensive network of apartments, which is particularly useful when travelling as a family.

Excellent service and usually good cancellation options too, in case you need to have flexible plans (which we do!)

about to stop using booking, com as they dont care what hotels join their network, they are not good with customer service as they have no control over the hotels on their books. Ive ended up in some awful dives listed as 3 stars, and nothing I could do. Yesterday I was charged a full fee by a hotel in Zurich and I had cancelled, nothing they could do, but they are keeping the hotel on their books? over 5 years ago

I'm very disappointed with Hotwire after being told that any complaints about the hotel must be made within 48 hours of the BOOKING...NOT ON ARRIVAL!!!! It's a very unreasonable condition. AND I have been told by two different hotel's reception staff that you will get better rates if you to the hotel's site directly!!!, and that Hotwire, Expedia and Booking.com are all (if not associated legally) work in cohorts with each other. I've been told people have been thrilled with Priceline deals, but I can't be bothered with them. I think Virago looks good, but you can't book at the last minutes to get the deals, but if you can plan ahead, I'd use them. about 5 years ago

I use booking.com all the time as they have apartments suitable for families that can be hard to find elsewhere. I've found them excellent. about 5 years ago
