Do you mean for "insurance" purposes?

Generally a family constitutes immediate family members. ie blood or marital relations. The PDS should be able to define the term "family" for you. over 6 years ago

Hi Joshua, Katrina from WorldNomads.com here. Generally it is 2 adults under 66 years, with dependent children. Please note our age limit on cover varies eg. under 67 if you're a USA resident or under 60 if you're a Canadian or from the UK/Ireland.

I assume you're not a dependent child any more, so you're likely going to have to buy a single (1 adult) policy plus a family or duo/couple policy (2 adults covered).

All of our plans differ on who can be included in a family policy, depending on your country of residence. We go into detail about the definition in the Policy Wording / Full Description of Coverage (you'll see that when you get a quote) and also list this in our FAQs http://www.worldnomads.com/travel-insurance/travel-insurance-questions.aspx. Please do take the time to read the policy wording (also called a PDS in some countries as Lisa mentions) carefully, as this is the detailed description of what's covered (and not).
