I'm a very anxious flyer, I get bad ear aches and they cause migraines. Although it pains me to stay awake, I love watching the takeoff and landing to get a sense of the city. But to sleep I have to take meds. In Canada I get a sealed container with a doctors note only allowed two pills. One before one up there, sleep the whole way. over 6 years ago

Walk for as much as you can before boarding the plane. Try and raise your feet off the floor during the flight. If in economy put your feet on top of your own bag. Good quality noise-cancelling headphones a must. Eye-mask a must. over 6 years ago

Short flights - two brandies before boarding.
Long flights - eat before departure, sleeping pill and seat next to the window over 6 years ago
