    Depends entirely on how you like to travel and what you expect. Somewhere like India could be considered both the cheapest (staying in Guest houses, eating at street stalls) and the most expensive (5 star luxury the whole way).
    Also depends on what currency you are travelling with and what the current exchange rates are. Australia used to be a fairly reasonable place to visit with $USD, but these days, travellers are finding it quite expensive with the high exchange rate almost 7 years ago

    Bhutan is one if the most expensive places to travel to. Government imposed min spend per night of about 200 usd even for backpackers almost 7 years ago
