Headed to Nürburgring, Germany for a music festival in July perhaps - any hints on what else to do around that time?

Duisburg might be hosting the Berlin Love Parade at the end of July (Berlin doesn't want to host them anymore...), that could be interesting! I would definitely recommend getting up to Berlin, which is one of my favourite European cities. Neuss, Dusseldorf and Cologne are also nice places to visit within Germany. Great time of year to be travelling - I suggest hiring a bike and cycling round some of the cities, thats one of the easiest (and fun!) ways to get around. over 9 years ago

    Dive spots near Sydney?

I have a friend who goes on dives with http://www.frogdive.com.au/. Apparently Fairy Bower just off Shelly Beach is known for Dusky Whaler shark juveniles and other sharks as well.... Or there's Long Reef which has a big swim through system called Cathedral Rock with lots of small caves and passages... almost 10 years ago

    Day trips around New Zealand

Yael Gaffney: In July this year I visited Rotorua, and I also wasn't keen on paying a fortune to visit a "thermal park" (which apparently have timed geysers anyway). Kuirau Park which is right in the centre of town is free to visit and has boiling mud pools for you to marvel at! The kids might really enjoy the luge in Rotorua - I know I did!! It's a bit like go-karting. http://www.skylineskyrides.co.nz/ almost 10 years ago

Where should i go for 1 month in september in Europe? (Think Turkey, Morocco, Spain)

You could always try eastern Europe, the baltic coast is beautiful in August and you can get really cheap flights to Tallinn or Riga from London. If you can get over there the Curonian Spit in Lithuania is fantastic. The exchange rate is great too since the Baltic states (Lativa, Estonia and Lithuania) haven't switched to the euro!! almost 10 years ago

Does anyone know of any good hostels in Queenstown?preferably centrally located ones?

The YHA is really well situated. I would NOT recommend Base backpackers, I stayed there 6 months ago and whilst the location was great, the hostel was probably the worst I have ever stayed in. Drunk people partied 24-7 and the "private bathrooms" were external to the room so everyone could use them anyway. The YHA is across the road from Base, so you can still go across to the bar in Base (Altitude) but then walk back to your cosy rooms and clean kitchen (I knew people staying in the YHA). http://www.yha.co.nz/Hostels/South+Island+Hostels/QueenstownCentral/ almost 10 years ago

Does anybody know how to dial from a vietnamese mobile to an Australian mobile?

If you're calling from Vietnam then you need the international dialling code 00 then it's 61 for australia then you drop the first 0 of the mobile number. I assume you might have to do the same if calling from a vietnamese mobile within Australia. It would work anyway. almost 10 years ago
