    Dive spots near Sydney?

I have a friend who goes on dives with http://www.frogdive.com.au/. Apparently Fairy Bower just off Shelly Beach is known for Dusky Whaler shark juveniles and other sharks as well.... Or there's Long Reef which has a big swim through system called Cathedral Rock with lots of small caves and passages... over 9 years ago

Does anybody know how to dial from a vietnamese mobile to an Australian mobile?

If you're calling from Vietnam then you need the international dialling code 00 then it's 61 for australia then you drop the first 0 of the mobile number. I assume you might have to do the same if calling from a vietnamese mobile within Australia. It would work anyway. over 9 years ago

what are some good beaches that aren't so crowded..?

If you don't mind a bit of a drive 60-90 minutes, Wollongong is always a nice place, Wollongong City Beach is pretty good and is patrolled. Theres free parking too! Has a nearby BBQ area and a good cafe with good fish and chips! If you live on Sydney's South its really easy to get down there. almost 10 years ago

Does anyone know of any good hostels in Queenstown?preferably centrally located ones?

The YHA is really well situated. I would NOT recommend Base backpackers, I stayed there 6 months ago and whilst the location was great, the hostel was probably the worst I have ever stayed in. Drunk people partied 24-7 and the "private bathrooms" were external to the room so everyone could use them anyway. The YHA is across the road from Base, so you can still go across to the bar in Base (Altitude) but then walk back to your cosy rooms and clean kitchen (I knew people staying in the YHA). http://www.yha.co.nz/Hostels/South+Island+Hostels/QueenstownCentral/ over 9 years ago

What are the best upcoming music festivals to attend in east coast Australia?

a couple of the big ones in early 2010 are Future Music festival (Franz Ferdinand, Empire of the Sun, David Guetta are headlining) www.futuremusicfestival.com.au/, Good Vibrations (The Killers and Basement Jaxx) www.gvf.com.au and also a smaller one in darling harbour called A Green Fairyland http://www.greenfairyland.com/. Big Day Out is probably sold out in Sydney but there might still be tickets available for the Gold Coast or Melbourne if you also wanted to take a trip at the same time :) almost 10 years ago

What are the best adventure activities in New South Wales?

The Blue Mountains are great for all sorts of adventure activities: bushwalking, abseiling and of course as mentioned above, canyoning. You can also go horse riding in the Megalong Vally - Werribee Trail rides is the name of one of the companies. Definitely of the best things to do is to go out to Jenolan Caves - they have show caves (walk along a guided path with a guide) or adventure caving where you abseil and crawl (also with a guide). You could probably organise a tour from Sydney, or there is definitely one that runs from Katoomba with the Blue Mountains bus co www.trolleytours.com.au almost 10 years ago
