How dressed up do I need to be to go to the opera in Prague?
Hi Carole, The general consensus is that you'll get a cross section of attires. Students and youth tend to dress down a little, however in most European cities (well, anywhere to be honest), the Opera is seen as that one night when you can dress up without feeling out of place. Given the cold climate at present, most people wear boots and take a change of footwear, checking the boots in when they get there. almost 9 years ago

We are going to the UK for 4 weeks and will have a car, will our Australian driver's licence be ok to use?
"If you are the holder of an ordinary driving licence or a valid international driving permit, you can drive any category of small vehicle shown on your licence. You will be able to drive for up to 12 months from the time you became a resident. To ensure continuous driving entitlement a provisional GB licence must have been obtained and a driving test(s) passed before the 12-month period elapses." - Source - http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/DriverLicensing/DrivingInGbOnAForeignLicence/DG_4022561. Sarah might be referring to a US resident, but best to go off the government sites for confirmation. about 9 years ago
