What is the most eclectic /bohemian hostel for backpackers in sydney?

I'm staying at the new Sydney Harbour YHA and while definitely not "bohemian" - the archeological dig below, great rooftop terrace (with opera house views) and laidback vibe make it one of the most unique in Sydney. over 9 years ago

Where are some good clubs for Thurs / Fri night

The Piano Room in King's Cross is a favorite - it has a nice lounge atmosphere (rare for the Cross) and a live band/dueling pianos playing all night. www.pianoroom.com.au/ over 9 years ago

I want to tour around Thailand for a week. Any suggested tours that DO NOT include airfare (I'll already be there)?

Thailand is a very easy country to navigate once you are on the ground. There are innumerable tour operators in Bangkok, especially around Kao San Road, that will set you up with tours, and many other travelers on the same tourism trail. I wouldn't recommend spending an entire week in Bangkok, there is so much more to see around the rest of the country. If you want beach weather for a few days and are pushed for time, I would recommend Koh Chang, only a few hours outside of Bangkok. If you can also make the trip north to Chiang Mai, you can really immerse yourself in the cultural hub of Thailand (think muay thai boxing classes, cooking schools, village trekking tours). If you book these things in Bangkok, it will most likely be much less expensive than a package tour. over 9 years ago

best places to go out in barcelona? prefer non-touristic places.

Le Quinze Nits (Plaza Real - plaza off of Las Ramblas) - amazing restaurant, you must order dessert and $6 bottles of cava (spanish champagne) Cafe de l'Opera - (off of Las Ramblas) order chocolat and churros for breakfast Rabi Pelau (Pig Bar) - local dive, learn salsa and drink guarapitas with the local Spaniards Margarita Blue - down the street from Rabi Pelau, good bar atmosphere (get a blue marg) Go to the neighborhood El Borne for cool little cafes, boutiques and restaurants almost 10 years ago
