What is megabus like to travel with?
Hit and miss really. They are reliable and economical though. Travelled with them twice. First trip we were handled like cattle with a grumpy driver, second time was a lot better. A jolly driver which made the trip a LOT more pleasurable. Definitely a reliable and economical option so best to give them a try. Good luck! almost 10 years ago

Traveling from Gullane to Inverness, which one distillery would you suggest for a tasting tour?
Just before Inverness you'll find the Tomatin distillery. A nice small distillery with visitor centre and shop. See: http://www.tomatin.com/distillery/visitor-centre Hope this helps, enjoy your trip! Rene almost 10 years ago

What is the fastest and easiest way from Edinburgh to Inverness/Forres/Findhorn, departing late afternoon?
I would stay over in Edinburgh and drive up to Findhorn the next day. The drive to Findhorn is awesome and you miss all that by driving at night. Best is to drive from Edinburgh to Perth, Pitlochry, Aviemore on the A9, turn off at Aviemore and drive over the Dave Moors to Forres and then to Findhorn. About a 3 hour drive. You'll love it. Driving in the dark through this kind of area's you need to be careful with deer and other wildlife on roads. Feel free to contact me for more info. Enjoy! almost 11 years ago
