What's the cheapest way possible to fly to Tasmania?

For local Australian flights I always check first with www.webjet.com.au as it gives all the possible flights and prices and then purchase directly with the airlines - sorry web jet! I agree with Ian - if you can fly into Melbourne. There are some great deals out at the moment for flights between Australia and the USA Regards Suzi over 10 years ago

a good place to stay on the water

Hi Yvonne We are going in June for our first trip but from all the research that I have done it really seems private rentals is the best way to go to save money. Makayla Palms gets rave reviews in Rarotonga. The gem I have found though is on Aitutaki and is called Paradise Cove - right on the best beach, really cute bures and costs only $100 a night if you book directly. regards Suzi over 10 years ago

What are day trips from Sydney?

Blue Mountains is a great day trip - even better though as an overnight. You can drive, catch a bus - lots of tourist busses leave from down town or catch a train to Katoomba – a little hard to get around though without a car. Other good day trips Gosford - go by train Palm Beach - go by ferry and buss Hunter Valley - need a car Regards Suzi over 10 years ago

Whats good to do for a weekend in Sydney? I only have limited time

If you don't do the Manly thing - definitely recommended and have lunch there in one of the beach or harbour front cafes - go to Paddington for some excellent retail therapy over 10 years ago
