Where are some good places to go camping around New Castle

I would go to Port Stephens - there is a lovely camping ground opposite the beach. Beware of the school holidays though! over 9 years ago

What is the best family resort (and hotel) in Fiji?

Castaway Island or if that breaks the budget Plantation Island. I would not bother with the Coral Coast - go to the islands for real paradise Regards Suzi over 9 years ago

What is the best way (i.e. mode of transportation) to travel up the east coast of Australia?

Hi Alicia It really depends what you want to see and what you where you want to go. The east coast is a huge distance to drive if you want to see all of it - options are drive, take the train or fly into selected airports (my preference is the last!) Regards Suzi over 9 years ago

Quiet retreat for a new family near Hobart?

Depends if you want luxury or basic? Piermont at the higher end near Swansea is nice Regards Suzi almost 10 years ago

Please suggest a really inexpensive place for a family (with one young kid) to stay 2 nights in Hobart?

The Old Woolstore is great, has 2 bedroom suites and ones with a kitchen. Definitely safe. Depends on your definition of inexpensive! Regards Suzi almost 10 years ago

Flying from Singapore to Siem Reap cheaply.

Thanks for that. I have heard some horror stories about Jetstar and them cancelling flights. Did you have any problems? The prices are certainly attractive! Regards Suzi almost 10 years ago

Flying from Singapore to Siem Reap cheaply.

Thanks Fenn for the extensive reply. Really appreciated. It should be easier shouldn't it! I did check out your site Adioso and it is really helpful. I would rather go direct than save a few dollars so looks like Jetstar unless Silk Air come up with a better low season deal - currently it is SGD $488 a person! The good thing is they leave at 8:50am compared to Jetstars 6am but I will get up early to not pay $400 SGD per person! I had come to the conclusion I will need to fly somewhere else in Vietnam to get to Da Nang - which is ok - Just need to wait a few more months until May/June fares become available on Vietnam Airways. Does anyone have any advice if in low season I could wait until we are in Siem Reap and sort it out from there or should I just be patient and book from here when fares become available? We only have a few weeks away so would not want to get stuck in Siem Reap. Regards Suzi about 10 years ago
