My partner and I are looking to hire a campervan in New Zealand...

I think 4-5 weeks is definitely minimum time for trying to cover both North and South Islands. We rented a car on North Island and stayed in hostels over 14 days and then headed to South Island where we rented a spaceship (campervan) for 18 days. I wrote up our itineraries on Make Travel Fair, you might find them to be a helpful starting point. http://www.maketravelfair.co.uk/2008/10/27/new-zealand-north-island-in-14-days/ http://www.maketravelfair.co.uk/2008/10/08/new-zealand-south-island-in-18-days/ over 8 years ago

What are the best natural wonders the United States have to offer?

A very broad question - the United States is vast. I've always been a big fan of the mid-west region, where you'll find a lot of the places Hilary mentioned - Bryce Canyon, Zion, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley etc. A road trip out of Phoenix, AZ, heading north will take you into serious natural wonder territory. over 8 years ago

    Must see's in Edinburgh

1- Walk up Carlton Hill, Arthur's Seat, or along the Crags for great views. 2- Wander the length of the Royal Mile from the Castle down to Holyrood House. Try a battered Mars Bar from a chip shop on your way down. 3- Visit Mary King's Close for for an interesting insight on Edinburgh's past. 4- Grab a drink at the Elephant House where JK Rowling penned most of Harry Potter. 6- Try some Haggis Neeps & Tatties, maybe at Deacon Brodies Tavern on the Royal Mile. almost 9 years ago

Does anyone know the name of a nice hotel in KL?

I stayed at Anjung Guesthouse last year. It's in Bukit Bintang area on a quiet street just behind Jalan Alor - a renowned food street in KL. There are a good handful of guest houses around here. http://www.anjungkl.com/ over 9 years ago

Whats the best Campervan Company to use in Australia?

I used Spaceships in New Zealand. They're also in Australia and are a great option see http://www.spaceshipsrentals.com.au/. They combine the attributes of an easy to drive car and the convenience of a campervan. There are cheaper alternatives but these guys have a great product. over 9 years ago
