    3G iPad network

Turkcell is one of the largest and most famous GSM operators in Turkey. And it is more expensive than others. Yet Vodafone is an international and known company. Coverage of all the three operators is about 99% of Turkey. Thus, you will not have any problem with any of them in the destinations you wrote. We used Avea in Capadocia and it was okay. Plus: Turkey's GSM operators have high-speed connections when compared to US or other countries' operators. Prices: For a service with quota of 1GB/month, you may pay between 25TL (~$15) - 50TL (~$25). I would suggest you to see Turkcel, Vodafone and Avea shops (owned by them) and compare the prices. about 7 years ago

You should give more details if you want certain answers. Which city, which district? What is you trip plan? etc.. Cities, event districts differ from each other in terms of costs. about 7 years ago

What is the best way to get from Turkey to Lebanon? I'm American, so I can't see Syria right now :(

The best option would be taking a direct flight from Istanbul to Beirut. You can compare the flights on bulucak.com about 7 years ago

Bodrum or Antalya for a first time beech holiday in Turkey?

This is directly depends on your beach preferences. Even if you prefer Antalya, Antalya has various towns and beaches differ in terms of depth, sandy beaches, hotels quality, etc. If you do not like the water/sea get deep in the first 3-4 meters, then you should not prefer west cost of Antalya (Kemer, Tekirova, Camyuva, etc.). This side all has sandy beach but the sea is deeper than 5-6 meters in the first 5 meters. For sandy and not deep (at least for the 15-20 meters) beaches, you should prefer Alanya, Side, and maybe Belek which are on the east coast of Antalya. Bodrum beaches do not get very much deep in the first 4-5 meters like Antalya. I would suggest you to choose a good hotel since the best hotels have the best beaches. But if you do not like the sea gets deeper than you should make it sure by asking your hotel preferred. Water temparature will differ 1-2 celcius between Bodrum and Antalya and Antalya sea water is always 1-2 celcius higher than Bodrum. about 7 years ago

Some of the Aegean cuisine has already many vegeterian type food. I do not think you will have difficulty in finding vegeterian food. In Turkey, it might be a little bit difficult to find restarants that are serving only vegeterian food. Yet, you can find vegeterian food nearly in all restaurants. over 7 years ago
