what is the cheapest way to see london by bus and train is a pass advisable

I would say the best way is on one of the big red buses. You can jump on and off when ever you like. You will get to se many of the famous sites around London from the buses, You will stop at London Bridge, Big Ben, Westminster, Oxford Street, Picadilly and much much more. Otherwise the tubes are easily accessible, but of course you are underground and don't get to see much apart from the odd bit of day light. about 10 years ago

I'm in Rome for only 3 days in July. What's are my must do's?

In Rom you would need more than 3 days but here are a few ideas. The Colosseum for sure! it will take your breath away. I spent over 3 hours there. The Trevi Fountain & Spanish steps while you are there grab a ice cream! These two are within walking distance from each other. The Vatican City was ok - lots of people there so make sure you get there before it opens. Make sure you get a pizza in Rome. Just a few ideas! about 10 years ago

Looking for a hotel on the beach in the Seminyak area.

We stayed at a hotel right on the beach. It was called the Melasti Bali Hotel. Check out the web site. It isn't in Seminyak but very close to it. Just up the road form this hotel there is a wonderful restaurant which serves fantastic dishes from Italian to traditional Indonesian food. www.melastibali.com about 10 years ago

Any hints or contacts regarding best/safe internal travel methods?

I did a tour through Acacia Africa. We went through Arusha to Zanzibar staying in Dar es Salaam prior to boarding the boat to Zanzibar. It is a good way to travel through these countries with the fees for the ferry over to Zanzibar and back included in the total cost of the tour. I am sure you will be able to find some handy information or even a tour at www.acacia-africa.com about 10 years ago

Where are the best serviced apartments to stay at in Melbourne?

We are have stayed in many apartments and the best would be the mecure on spring street. Always check out www.wotif.com for cheap hotels they will always have something but it is a risk as well because if there is a massive event on alot of hotels / apartments book out eg: Australian Open about 10 years ago
