What are some good hotels that i can stay in that are within US$120?

it might sounds weird but we stayed at the Bellagio in 2005 for around US$120 a night. My mouth dropped to the floor when we saw our room - AMAZING. Further down the strip is where you might find cheaper hotels. Check out this site you might find a good deal http://www.lasvegas.com/resorts/ over 10 years ago

    Good camping sites in Tasmania?

I would highly suggest Port Arthur Caravan Park it is about 500 meters past the Fox & Hounds. I have been going there since i was about 4 years old. I go every Christmas, Easter and long weekend It has a massive recreation room with a tv, laundry facilities, park, fires permitted, power sites, cabins, shop, ten sites, showers and toilets. 5 Minute to the best beach in Tasmania Stewarts Bay. You can also walk in to Port Arthur Historic Site from the camping grounds. While you are down there you can do Shipsterns Bluff Walk which is a 5 hour return walk or Cape Roual there is the blow hole and much much more to do down there. If you wanted to go out for a meal one night i would highly suggest Taylors Restaurant which you can walk to from the camping site. It is on the other end of the beach. You can go fishing off the rock or at the jetty there as well. It is one of the most relaxing places in Tasmania i would say. Defiantly worth going there for a few nights! over 10 years ago

I'm looking for a destination (not only US)to travel to with kids.

Disneyland in Anaheim is a must do with kids and if the kids are older maybe Knotts Berry Farm. Universal Studios is also good for kids. In Australia we have plenty of things to do. In Queensland there is a water part - Wet 'n' Wild, Theme parks which are Dreamworld which has rides and animals (tigers), White Water World which is right next door to Dreamworld, Movie World is another theme park. Most of the Hotels in Queensland have pools. If you base yourself in the Gold Coast you can travel up the coast to Noosa and the Sunshine Coast. There is also the Australia Zoo, Big Pineapple and much much more to do in Queensland. There are plenty of islands off Queensland at stay at some are Hamilton Island, Day Dream Island, Lizard Island and many more. over 10 years ago

    What's your favorite beach?

I would also say Stewarts Bay in Tasmania. It has the best sand and crystal blue / green waters. Tasmania is the place to come for beaches - pity the weather isn't warmer here tho. After travelling so much i have always said that Stewarts Bay is still the best beach by far. In Hawaii i did enjoy Waikiki Beach because it was safe for everyone with Shark protection netting in the sea. You can also have turtles swim up to you, the water is warm, the sand is soft (and from Australia - Imported!) There are lots of people on the beach - right out the front of our hotel which was up the end of the beach there was heaps a space to chill out and relax without the hassle of to many tourists. In Zanzibar in Africa the beaches there are amazing, the water is so clear but there are allot of jellyfish so something to keep in mind. Just some ideas for you. over 10 years ago

what is a good secure budget hotel to stay at in L.A. that is close to most attractions?

Near Disneyland there are plenty of hotels to stay at and lots little motels almost right out the front of disnyland. We stayed at the Hilton which in 2005 was about $100.00 per night. Not to bad considering you are never in the room. over 10 years ago

Do I need to have the yellow fever innoculation?

It is always best to have the yellow fever innoculation if you are travelling to and from Africa. If you are from Australia and you travel to Africa you are not allowed back in to Australia without your yellow fever certificate. It dosen't hurt to have the innoculation, once you have it you will be fine to travel wherever and not have to worry about it. While travelling in Africa when i got to some boarders i was not allowed in until i had shown my yellow fever certificate. So best thing i can suggest is to just have the injection then you wont have to worry when you are travelling. over 10 years ago

I'm looking for a good place to ride out the economic crisis. Is Thailand a good place?

Another suggestion to add is Bali. Depending on where you stay of course. Closer to the beach you will pay more for accommodation but i am sure there are plenty of tucked away places to stay on a tight budget. Allot of pensioners move to Indonesia from Australia because it is cheaper to live and their pension lasts a allot longer over there than in Australia. over 10 years ago
