Road trip from Perth to Melbourne within 35 hours

Hi Raman, Haven't done the trip myself but I think the drive itself takes around 36 hours alone, not counting rest stops. Google maps should work pretty much everywhere along the route. over 2 years ago

Recommended immunisations for travel to cambodia?

Hey Robin, I'd suggest asking your doctor to be sure, but when I went I was advised: - Tetanus - Diptheria - Hep A & B - Malaria tablets - Rabies (only if you expect to be in close contact with animals) There are a few considerations which depend on where you're going, what you're doing and how long you're there, so it's definitely a good idea to check with the doctor as well. over 2 years ago

Would bringing a water filter/purifier or water purification tablets to Nepal be a requirement

Hey Reinout, If you're trekking it's probably a good idea to take some, but in general the tea houses will boil water for you. I went for close to two weeks in a very remote part of Nepal and didn't have any problems with the water (always boiled). The other option is something like this: https://www.thegrayl.com/ which would be handy for future trips as well! over 2 years ago

which countries we can visit with a valid UK visa ????

It will depend on immigration law regarding Algerian passport holders. A UK visa won't give you access to Mexico but you might be able to get a visa on arrival (check their government's website for information on Algerian citizen visa requirements.). over 2 years ago

    Beaches in Thailand in September

Hi Natalja, Not an island, but Tonsai on the south coast of Thailand (30 mins boat from Krabi) is a cool little bay without all the tourists you'd find on Koh Phi Phi. The land area (small jungle paths) is about 2 km sq but you can also walk from there to Railey beach (more popular). It's got a laid-back, rasta vibe to it. It's also known as a good rock-climbing spot! Hope that helps, Pearse over 2 years ago

Do i need any prior film making experience to be considered for the projects?

Hi Zargham, Our travel scholarships are learning opportunities for amateur/non-professional creatives to win a unique mentoring opportunity with a professional in the travel writing, film and photography industries. Aspiring creatives in these industries submit an application to a particular scholarship (when it is open) and World Nomads selects a winner based on their entry, personal essay and what they will gain from the mentorship. For film, unfortunately our Travel Film Scholarship to India has just closed, you can view the winning film here: https://www.worldnomads.com/create/scholarships/film/2017/results Sign up to our scholarships newsletter (on the below page) to hear about any upcoming scholarship opportunities: https://www.worldnomads.com/create/scholarships/ Hope that helps, Pearse over 2 years ago

What are the major rules regarding customs declaration in Thailand?

Hey Anna, When I went a few years ago I didn't have to declare anything special, just the usual cash, alcohol and tobacco amounts, but almost every country has those. over 2 years ago
