Anyone ever been to Tibet? What tips can you share about this amazing place?
I'm using Nikon D90, with 18-200mm lens, 50mm lens, and 11-16mm lens. Not really a professional but I did sell some photos before, I think Tibet is a photo paradise, people are very friendly. But remember one thing, it's very important to interact with people before taking pictures, and its a good idea to bring a polaroid or Pogo printer, so you can give out photos to the people, they love it! about 8 years ago

Does an iPhone work in China to UK?
In China, if your iPhone can work with China Mobile or China Unicom, then you can use it in UK as well. There's a specially-made iPhone from China Telecom, you may not be able to use it in UK. But I guess you won't get one from China Telecom. over 7 years ago

Is altitude sickness always a problem in Tibet?
I haven't tried chewing garlic, but it would also be a good idea to take medication like diamox, which is a prescribed drug in some countries. Note that you will not be able to find diamox in China or Tibet, better ask your doctor for more advice. I found most people traveling in Tibet are actually okay with the altitude. Then why do people always scared of the altitude before coming to Tibet? Because those who suffered from serious complication of mountain sickness will make the noisiest news. over 7 years ago
