Best place to meet people in Japan?

Generally, easiest way to meet ppl is through ex-pats, they're always friendly, know all the great places and usually know some Japanese students/friends who won't be shy to have a chat. If you're heading to Tokyo, head to Roppongi - what we call Gai Jin (foreigner) central. They're some great pubs/bars there where you're sure to meet some ex-pats and locals who can give you an idea of what to do and where to go. almost 11 years ago

Where can I buy delicious nachos in Sydney?

CBD is tough when it comes to a good Mexican feed - wander up to Surry Hills and you'll find Mad Mex (similar to GYG) or head West to Glebe where you can check out Flying Fajita Sisters (and their $3 Taco Tuesdays!!) over 10 years ago

Best spots to see fireworks for New Years Eve in Sydney?

We have tickets to Nielsen Park in Vaucluse so we don't have to wait. http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/parks/sydneyharbournye2009.htm My flatmate last year got a great view from Mrs Macquarie's Chair...but she was out there from 11 am in the morning!! about 11 years ago
