I have one week to stay in Cairns. What should I do/visit?

Another vote for the reef. I stayed in Palm Cove last time I was up there and absolutely loved the place. It's a bit more relaxed/slower than Cairns, more of a place to take a partner rather than party, great spot/restaurants etc. though. over 10 years ago

Which Indian Restaraunt is the best?

Another voice amongst the mix but ... - Tandoor Palace is new best place for mainstream Indian curries. It's pretty much Tandoor Curry House but with good service (they won't forget your order or serve you stone cold Naan bread *cough*). In terms of taste they're at least on par with Tandoor Curry House. I can't comment on the authenticity, but it tastes awesome to my western taste buds. - Magic Curries is pretty mediocre. I've only been there three times, but the service/food was always below average. over 10 years ago

Where can I get the best coffee in the CBD?

Changing my vote to Villino Espresso, easily the best takeaway coffee I've had. almost 11 years ago

Where can I get the best coffee in the CBD?

For a consistently good (perhaps not the best), I'd hit up Redbean Cafe on the corner of Elizabeth and Macquarie. Breadd and Jackman & McRoss are both good and are a bit on the stronger side. almost 11 years ago

    Good restaurants in Hobart?

Amulet has been closed for 3ish months. Piccolo has taken it's place. As to good restaurants, it all depends on the price range and the type of food you're looking for. Some highlights: - Lebrina. Exceptional modern food, best duck around, pigeon is also great. If you want to get the full experience you're looking at $80+ a head. - Segretto. Great food/value/service and consistent, it's an Italian restaurant in North Hobart, looking at 20ish mains. - Prossers. If Sandy Bay isn't too far, Prossers is probably the best seafood around. They're currently running a degustation menu that's pretty crazy if the idea of 7 courses doesn't scare you off. http://www.prossersonthebeach.com/degustation almost 11 years ago
