Are there any good authentic Mexican restaurants in Sydney? Craving it!

Guzman Y Gomez is the only good Mexican I've found in Australia thusfar (I found Aztecas terrible). I've just heard there's a new place in Newtown though that's apparently the "best Mexican good in Sydney", I'll find out more details/eat there and report back. I don't know about "real authentic" Mexican food, my views are just based on spending a few months in California (praise be to Tacos Jalisco). almost 11 years ago

Does Fiji have the best drinking water, and if so why?

FIJI water (the bottled brand) is sourced from an Aquifer. I drank the stuff religiously when I was over there, it seemed to taste pretty good, though it also could have been the heat. over 8 years ago

What is the best calling card plan for dialing the U.S. from Australia?

This isn't very scientific, but I spent about a year of a long distance relationship using OzCall phonecard from GoTalk to call California. I'm not sure how the whole reseller thing works, I'm pretty sure there's 10,000 indistinguishable products designed purely to confuse customers, so it's hard to compare products. The current rate is 0.5c/minute (half a cent) plus 79c flagfall. I tried out another couple of cheaper phonecards (OzCall was a bit more expensive at the time), but there was issues of network contention, and the delay in the phone conversation was noticable and annoying, so I had to switch back. http://www.cardcall.com.au/en/Products/Phonecards/Pages/Ozcall.aspx Rates are available at: http://www.cardcall.com.au/en/Rates/Pages/view.aspx?product=AUCCOZcall over 9 years ago

Is one week enough for travelling in New York?

I only spent around a week in NY when I was there and had a great time. If you're tight on time then there's plenty you can see and cover with only a week in New York. You don't have to do everything a city has to offer to have a good time, I'm a foodie so I largely focused on the food side of things when I was there :) over 8 years ago

Is the water drinkable from the tap in Fiji?

Recently dragged 12x1.5L bottles around various Islands in Fiji in various bags. Phil has it covered, for me it really comes down to the question ... Given that buying and dragging around bottled water isn't all that hard, is it worth risking (even if the chance is remote) getting sick on a trip you've paid for and have been looking forward to? If you're stepping outside of the big mainland resorts, better to be safe than sorry. over 8 years ago

    Best affordable sushi in NYC

Thanks for the wise words Simon. Just went to Nobu 57 and had quite the experience. I can't remember what we ordered, but it was essentially opting to have whatever chef Matsuhisa felt like serving. 3 cold dishes, 2 hot dishes, miso, sushi and dessert, quite the journey! Incredible food, quite imaginative and worth every cent. about 10 years ago

Best food areas and eateries in Texas?

Thanks for the great answer! Austin it is, looking forward to it. Thanks for the tip on the beef vs. pork, I've only ever hard pork based BBQ before, will be interesting. over 9 years ago

Which North American city is the best place for summer?

Hard call, I loved San Diego in the summer, I'd probably choose somewhere near the sea on the west coast. Whatever you do don't go to NYC in the peak of summer, talk about humid. about 9 years ago
