Does your insurance cover Russia? Can I explicitly get a document stating that you cover Russia quickly?f

Hello Ksenija, Katrina from WorldNomads.com here. If you select one of the "Worldwide" plans we offer, you will be covered to travel in Russia. Your policy certificate will show "Worldwide" but not list Russia specifically. This should be sufficient to show to the visa office. However, if you require a specific letter, please write to us at help @ worldnomads.com and confirm your policy number. We can ask the insurer to prepare something for you. This may take a few working days, so let us know. Safe travels Katrina over 6 years ago

BALI > i look for full expat insurance but guess 12 month travel insurance i read here also okanyone has good experience with it?

Hi Daniel You might like to look at the expat health insurance offered by our insurance partner, ihi Bupa - http://global.ihi.com/Health+Insurance.aspx If you live in Bali, travel insurance wont cover you for any expenses while at home, in Indonesia, your country of residence. Travel insurance is not health insurance as travel insurers need to know where to repatriate you back to for ongoing medical treatment if your condition is serious. Once you return home, there is no cover under the travel insurance policy and your local, health insurance/expat insurance kicks in to help pay for your expenses at home. We do offer travel insurance to provide you with cover for overseas medical expenses and other benefits for trips outside of Indonesia. You can review this cover here: https://www.worldnomads.com/travel-insurance/prices-and-benefits-country.aspx?Country=IDN Any questions about the plans on offer through WorldNomads.com, please do ask our customer services team, who are always happy to help: https://www.worldnomads.com/contactus.aspx Katrina WorldNomads.com over 6 years ago

Would like recommendations for multi and annual overseas travel insurance

Hi Junebird, Katrina from WorldNomads.com here. To give you some suggestions for travel insurance, it's helpful to know your country of permanent residence and your age. Travel insurance is designed firstly on where you live (as the insurer needs to know where to repatriate you back to in the event of a medical emergency and you're unable to continue your trip). We do offer a number of different travel insurance plans, however these are designed for single trips, not multi-trip/annual cover. All of these plans are different, depending on your country of residence, so please so read the full description of cover carefully to choose a plan to suit you and your trip. You can take a look at these plans here, just choose your country of residence to start: https://www.worldnomads.com/travel-insurance/prices-and-benefits.aspx Alternatively, just search online for your local insurance council who should be able to provide you with a list of insurers that may suit your needs. Can you get extra insurance for two days skiing within a holiday?

Hi Ben, Katrina from WorldNomads.com here. It is possible to have 2 insurance policies as long as you don't claim on both! Just be careful about certain issues: - pre-existing medical cover relating to any condition you have had symptoms or treatment for before you buy an insurance policy; and - ongoing medical treatment for a short duration policy as this may end earlier than you need it to. For example: If you were injured skiing, then you could make a claim on the policy that covers skiing, however when this policy ends, the cover for any ongoing medical treatment (if necessary) may also end with it (unless the insurer approves this). So, if you needed ongoing physio treatment, and you only bought a 1 week policy (or less), then this treatment may end after only 1 week of treatment (which may not be ideal to help you recover). This injury couldn't be claimed on the non-ski policy, so you may be out of pocket, which can be expensive in the USA. However, if you bought the ski cover for the full duration of your trip, then this ongoing medical treatment would be available (where medically necessary and agreed by the insurer) for the full duration of your trip. Do check your policy wording fully, as there may be other restrictions or exclusions on coverage, which may be specific to the policy you have bought. If you have other specific questions about what's covered in the plans we offer, please contact our customer services team - http://worldnomads.com/contactus.aspx (we try to keep Ask A Nomad just for community answered questions, not specific insurance questions as we offer different policies for people from many different countries). Have any amazing USA adventure - I hear the snow has been great this year in the USA! Safe travels Katrina over 6 years ago
