i have six days in Adelaide, any must do from the locals.

Take a look at the Penfolds Magill Estate - the restaurant is excellent if you dont mind spending a few $s and of course the wine is pretty good too! about 10 years ago

Spending a week in Thredbo in September. Any recommendations for the best restaurants ( ie not fast ski food)

There are actually heaps of great restaurants in Thredbo village. Go to Credo http://www.credo.com.au/ if you've got a few $s to spend another couple to try are the T Bar or Bernti's. I suggest booking ahead, particularly during school holidays. And when you're heading back down the mountain, you have to stop into the Wildbrumby Distillery for a very tasty, local schnapps (www.wildbrumby.com/) and Crackenback Cottage for one final meal if you can fit it in. about 10 years ago

what's the best public transport method to get from sydney cbd to bondi beach?

If your travelling this route often - buy a weekly "Red travel pass" from a newsagency to cover the bus and train. For the fastest ride: take the train to Bondi Junction and then catch the 333 bus to Bondi Beach. about 10 years ago

what is the best method of transport from Syd to Canberra?

Cheapest: currently only $15 with http://www.greyhound.com.au/ Most flexible: around 3hrs depending on traffic in a hire car - try http://travellers-autobarn.com.au/ or http://oodles.com/ Most enjoyable: wouldn't say there's much to see between Sydney and Canberra, but if you had some time, you could see Canberra, the Snowy Mountains and other interesting spots too Try: http://www.viator.com/search/sydney%20canberra?pref=02&aid=g1859 http://www.adventuretours.com.au/3-day-sydney-to-melbourne-tour/ Fastest: Flights take about 50 minutes try http://www.jetabroad.com.au/ about 10 years ago
