Moving to Sydney in a few months qualifed BA Hons in Childcare, any suggestions of websites or agencies to start looking for work

Check out http://www.travellers.com.au/ and http://jobcapital.com.au/ Both agencies have offices in Sydney and specialise in traveller placements. Otherwise you can look at www.seek.com.au, http://www.careerone.com.au/ or mycareer.com.au/jobs/sydney/ - - I am sure they can help. Good luck! about 8 years ago

Is it better to bring a backpack or a small suitcase?

Really depends on what you'll be doing. Small suitcase if you'll be city hopping or backpack if you're going to be a bit more adventurous. Why not take a combination: small day pack for roaming hands free & small suitcase with wheels to easily get from A to B (but you can carry if you had to) about 8 years ago

If I were to back pack across Canada where are some recommended stops that are worth seeing?

Definitely go through Whistler, north of Vancouver on your way west to the Rockies. In summer, the mountain biking and hiking in the mountains is amazing. And of course, the skiing/boarding is pretty amazing in winter too. about 8 years ago

Is there any international travel insurance like WorldNomads but that cover people of over 71 years old?

WorldNomads.com Travel Insurance can cover residents of Mexico up to 66 years old. However, if you go direct to our insurer, ihi Bupa, they can cover people up to 80 years old. You can review their single trip travel insurance policies here - http://global.ihi.com/ (Please do read their policy wording carefully - all travel insurance policies are different, and it's good to know what you're going to be covered for (and not) before you travel) Hope your Mum enjoys her trip the the USA. Safe travels. about 8 years ago

If I just had my tonsils out recently and had some sort of complications while abroad. Would that be considred a pre-existing condition?

@taty283. Katrina from WorldNomads.com here, Yes, this would be considered a pre-existing condition. If you suffered complications while travelling, with a World Nomads policy, you would not be covered for medical expenses for this condition. WorldNomads.com policies do not cover you for any pre-existing medical conditions. Generally, a pre-existing condition is any medical or dental condition where you have received treatment or have shown symptoms before you purchase the travel insurance policy. This includes any medical condition you may suffer before you extend your policy. Please do check your policy wording carefully for the exact definition of a pre-existing condition for the policy that you buy, as all of our policies do differ depending on your country of residence. about 8 years ago
